A Cannoli in Napoli

Saw the ladies off in a taxi this morning and hopped directly on a train to Naples. As much as it's easier traveling without them, I miss them already. Addam and I boarded separately, so I was lucky enough to get a seat, but my poor brother was stuck in a cattle car for about an hour.

We found the apartment we're staying in about 10 minutes from the train station, got situated, charged our phones, and went in search of an original Napolitano pizza. L' Antica was too busy, so we just sat down across the street. Finished a pizza and a beer, and a little shot of Limoncella for me, and went back to the train station destined for Pompeii.

I can't believe how big it is, was...is. Amazing how much is preserved. Walked and walked and walked some more, and could have walked more to see all of it. When we'd had our fill, we bought some fresh squeezed, frozen lemonade and oj, I grabbed a couple lava rock bracelets, and we headed back to Napoli.

Too tired to venture too far, we ate in the neighborhood we're staying in...mediocre seafood dinner and a mediocre cannolo. Looking forward to Athens tomorrow.
